Dr Ann Vernon - Ph D, LMHC

Ann Vernon, Ph.D., is President of the Albert Ellis Board of Trustees and an international consultant and trainer, specifying in applications of CBT principles with children and adolescents.

Dr. Vernon is Professor Emerita, University of Northern Iowa, and has written 18 books and numerous chapters and journal articles on a variety of topics primarily related to counseling young clients.

Dr. Vernon is recognized internationally as a leading expert in applications of CBT principles with young clients and has presented workshops throughout the United States and Canada, as well as in South America, Holland, Romania, Japan, and Australia.

Dr. Vernon’s workshops are theoretically based, with practical applications and audience participation.  Participants leave with specific skills to apply with their clients.
