Jenny is a registered psychologist who has completed a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash University.
She has a gentle and encouraging approach and believes it is a privilege to be a part of her clients’ journeys toward greater self-knowledge and wellbeing. She aims to provide a safe and non-judgemental space for all clients, and recognises the importance of connection in a therapeutic relationship.
Jenny has experience working in schools and private practice. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of presentations including depression and anxiety, grief and loss, low self-esteem, school refusal, children with a background of trauma and neglect, and neurodivergent clients. She also provides cognitive, developmental, and behavioural assessments including the assessment and diagnosis of learning differences, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children and adults.
Jenny utilises a range of evidence-based approaches and interventions tailored to the individual needs and goals of her clients which primarily include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and play-based strategies for children. She also has an interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), compassion-based therapies, and utilising a strengths-based approach.
Jenny works with children, adolescents, and adults.
She also speaks Mandarin Chinese.
