Jocelyn is a General Psychologist. She is currently completing a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) degree with the Cairnmillar Institute. She has worked in mental health for 9 years, with experience in community health, clients going through IVF treatment, research, inpatient wards, community clinic, Headspace and public health services. She is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a Member of the Psychology of Eating, Weight and Body Image Interest Group (APS-PEWBIG).
Jocelyn has a warm, compassionate and supportive therapeutic style, working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals.
Jocelyn works primarily within a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy framework, often drawing on other therapeutic modalities including Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness based approaches.
Jocelyn has experience working with people of all ages. She has worked with people experiencing a range of psychological and behavioural difficulties including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, PTSD, complex trauma, eating concerns and IVF treatment. She also has experience working with grief and chronic illness management. Jocelyn works with children, adolescents and adults, providing individual and couples therapy.
In addition to her clinical work, Jocelyn also works in psychological research involving eating disorders. She has recently had a research paper published on digital screening for mental health in pregnancy and postpartum.
