Course Overview
Certificate in Cognitive Bahaviour Therapy with Children and Adolescents is an interactive training program, participants will be introduced to cognitive behavioural techniques and strategies for working with children and adolescents.
The ABC's of dysfunctional behaviour and emotional disturbance with children will be learned
Specific dysfunctional beliefs with children will be explained
CBT approaches effective with children and adolescents will be taught
Behavioural management and contingency management
Parenting and consultation skills will be included
Participants will have an opportunity to practice these new skills each day
This workshop is for participants who have completed the Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

Course will be run online, live, and interactive via zoom
There is no set date when this course will be offered face to face.
Course schedule: Lecture 9am-12.30pm followed by Supervision 1.30pm-4.30pm NOTE: Day 5 Supervision 9am-12.30pm (event is AEDT Melbourne VIC, Australian Eastern Daylight Time)
