Leigh Morgan

Leigh is a clinical psychologist who has worked with children, adolescents, adults and their families for more than 20 years, and currently works in private practice. Leigh is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia with an endorsement for Clinical Psychology and is a member of the Australian Psychological Association and American Psychological Association. Leigh is also a registered supervisor for psychologists.
After completing an internship with children with autism in the United States focusing on strong behaviour management skills, Leigh subsequently worked in government organisations and diverse educational settings within Australia. Having extensive training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Leigh has found this strategy to be very effective in supporting adults and children alike. In addition, CBT is helpful for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD who tend to enjoy the pragmatic nature of this approach.
Leigh has an Associate Fellowship in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) from the Albert Ellis Institute in New York, as well as additional training at the BECK Institute, New York, to continue to provide effective, evidence-based therapy.
